How has East High been doing?
This was the first year that East High School operated without U of R's assistance since 2015. The program was a resounding success, with graduation rates skyrocketing from ~35% to over 80% with U of R providing more resources, more elective class opportunities, and more counseling among other perks. Two years ago The RCSD School Board, specifically the members Cynthia Elliot, Beatriz LeBron, Amy Maloy and Isaiah Santiago, decided to dissolve the partnership.
