My cat spotted him crawling up the curtains inside the house, my sisters think he's a baby tarantula

He's inside a quart mason jar, his body is maybe quarter sized?? His legs could maybe span my palm when he was climbing and more relaxed

We're in El Paso County, Colorado

Also, what would be the best place to let him go? In the bushes? Under the porch? I want to make sure he's in a safe spot after being traumatized in a jar like this

this is in maryland usa

I don’t just kill all spiders because some are harmless ,but is this one anything to worry about?

Denver, CO

I took this photo last night. I did a Tineye search that had zero results. I saw it again this morning, but it was a medium brown color. I'm wondering if it's a crab spider, but in the photos of those it doesn't show spikes on the legs like this one. I tried to describe it for a google search, but AI is REALLY bad at identifying animals. Any budding arachnologists out there?

it came runnning at me fast asf like spawned out of nowhere and now i feel like things are crawling on me
