This spider looks a bit like a widow, is it?
I found this on the lamp at my house, I live in Mexico city. Is it a widow? My cats were trying to reach it and while i generally let them be, this one looks suspicious

Southern Illinois; in bathroom. But I see this guys all the time.
Edit: added context:
Every time I say “it’s a brown recluse, look at the violin” to my family they act like I’m paranoid because we couldn’t have them in our house. I normally wouldn’t care, but my papa got bit by one before so I know how bad it can be. I’ve started doubting myself, so wanted to check.
Is this a brown recluse? It was on my daughter’s play tent that was setting behind our couch. This would make the second one I have found which worries me. I’m in middle TN by the way
Hi. Sorry for the awful picture, but I was honestly too freaked out to get a better one. Caught this spider in my house today in Ottawa, Ontario. Is it a wolf spider?
Okay so I was walking down my deck stairs this morning and felt a spider web that was very strong, almost like light fishing line (slight exaggeration, but surprised me from past webs I’ve dealt with).
Tonight we let the dog out and this sucker was out there. The web was from a tree down to the deck. A span of well over 10’. The light and angle couldn’t get me too close for a picture. Location- Massachusetts.
Fascinating. Hope it eats all the bugs!!
(But it freaks out my wife.)
.
I’m not too sure it is, looks more like a huntsman, but I don’t really know anything about spiders. Anyone have an idea?
Hi trying to get some help identifying this spider I found in my garden in London! Looks like a wolf spider but it’s pretty big, maybe about 5cm total?
Found this little critter, about half an inch, crawling up my wall. Mainly black with brown curved lines on back.
Been noticing more spiders than usual the past month or so. I like to leave them alone since they can eat other pests. So maybe they've been breeding a lot in my home?
I am unsure if the baby bug in slides 2 and 3 are the same species or if they are even a spider at all. I hope they are lol
Located in Eastern, Massachusetts in a densely wooded town outside Boston. This critter was running across my kitchen …
my bro sent me this spider, knowing i’d be interested – and i am.
google lens identified it as a pholcid spider, but i’m not sure if it looks like one(?). if anybody knows for sure and could answer, i’d appreciate it!
I’ve found this one in the front yard, plus 2 in the back yard. It’s hard for me to get a great photo, but the ones I saw in the back yard have orange markings that look a lot like a smiley face. TIA!
Hi, I went to my back porch area of my townhome and saw this and immediately went back inside. Is it a spider? My friend said maybe a cicada shell but I’m not sure. I tried spraying it with water but it didn’t move. Location: back porch in Dallas Texas on a hot summer day.
Thanks everyone!
