Mustang hauling

Im very casually looking into getting a mustang in the next 5 or so years. As such a lot of my questions here will be starter logistic questions. I'm only currently working on getting the property with acreage, then I need to set it up for said mustang (after most likely fixing the house in this market), then I need to find either two mustangs I like, or a mustang and a companion horse.

That said please excuse my ignorance with this question.. but can you hire a hauler for a wild mustang? Of course they cant go on a traditional trailer, it would have to be a stock trailer or a trailer with no dividers. So then I assume not many people would want to haul with me... Im all the way in Maine and very rarely do they do north east pickup locations (I think once a year?) so I'd hate to have to pass on my favorite mustang just because its closest pickup is Texas, but I'm unsure on logistics of getting it shipped.

Will the BLM allow the non owner to pick the horse up?

Will a hauler even entertain this?

What's a normal per mile cost for something like this?

Do other north east mustang people ever do this for combined hauling?

Is combined hauling safe/recommended? I'm sure the BLM does it from facility to facility, but if something happens to the horse and I don't own it yet, I'm sure it then wouldn't be my responsibility?

Is a trip that far safe in a stock trailer with no way to take board breaks? Again, I'm sure the BLM does this to go from pickup facility to facility, but logistics? Food, water, time in trailer, etc?

Thank you for excusing my ignorance. Again, very casually looking. I have experience with green horses and this would be a wonderful project for me to do on our own timeline with less outside pressure for my own enjoyment. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions in the future, so if there are any better subreddits please let me know!!
