Wolf Alice in Mexico

I just wanted to say I loooooooved their performance last night in Mexico City! This was my first time seeing them live, and going to a proper rock concert, and omg! The arrangements? Amazing. The energy of the whole band? On point. Setlist: flawless. And special shotout to Ellie's vocals and Joff throwing his guitar in the air.
My one wish is that they'd played Play It Out, but honestly, the song didn't fit last night's setlist, I totally get it. And the setlist was already flawless, so I hold no grudge over that haha.
Was anyone else there? And did you have a good time?

My Fan History Of Wolf Alice - A Penny For Your Truth - continues to receive entries from all over the world. No doubt I’ll have some more after tonight’s show in Mexico City!

It’s building up to be a fantastic document detailing the band’s journey from open mics in 2010 to arenas in 2025 and I have been staggered by the interest shown by Fans of the band wanting to share their experiences! I’m almost at 600 stories now and there’s the rest of this year to go!

Listening to Ellie late at night.

Its an out of body experience. She shows her soul in her lyrics. So true and pure. Such exposure. She commits to you. I love this person so much because it would appear she writes from the heart in a lot of her songs and sometimes songs are written just for us to enjoy.

Met Ellie!!!

Bucket list ticked off, bumped into Ellie seeing Julia Cumming solo album from Sunflower Bean!( Highly recommend)

Whilst walking out she accidentally bumped into me and said oh sorry wearing my Wolf Alice merchandise I tried my best not fangirling! Got to tell her how much I love Wolf Alice and how amazing the band is! Said how I found out about WA through Tinder to which she said TINDER HOW! WOLF ALICE FOREVER!!

Bloom Baby's Birthday

May 15th, 2025 was the day BBB was released as a single.

I was in the back of a taxi somewhere in a huge industrial town in China, halfway through a 3 week business trip visiting potential suppliers when I first heard it. I'd been eagerly awaiting the release date and due to the time difference probably got my listen ahead of friends and family back in the UK.

BBB obviously went on repeat for the rest of my China trip, and I'll admit it took a few listens to fully appreciate it. By the time the gigs are the London O2 rolled around in December its #1 place in my Spotify yearly wrap was assured.

Looking forward to hearing other BBB stories today.

Just a throwback to when I met the gang in 2017

Met them after a gig in Manchester, accidentally head butted Ellie mid selfie which she found amusing and got photobombed by Joel on my Theo pic!

Genuinely the nicest people, Ellie & Joff were extremely chatty.

Theres no way to look none sweaty after being near the front 😅

Out of all Nirvana songs, if Wolf Alice were having an amazing concert and decided to come out to sing a Nirvana song as an encore... Which one would it be for you that would make your night? It could be all acoustic, or completely electric with the full band, all the works... whatever you imagine.

Selling my Giant Peach single

As the title says I'm looking to sell my Giant Peach single. Just found out I'm going to Leipzig in a couple weeks to watch a football match. Selling a few records I no longer need to help cover the plane tickets. The record is still sealed. I was hoping to get £300 for it based on some recent eBay sales, but I'm open to offers. Hoping for a speedy sale.

Do you ever go back to songs you may have overlooked in the past and find a new appreciation for them?

Blue Weekend is my favourite album. I love every song but there are a few I haven’t played as much. Recently Feeling Myself is my new favourite and has really grown on me. I love the fuzzy guitars in the chorus and how it builds to such a euphoric sound. It’s just so so good. I’m really hoping they return to this style soon.

Which video is this from? (It’s driving me mad)

hello!

Around the blue weekend album they put out a video where Ellie wakes up in a tent (screenshot) and swears. I’m sure she’s either been left behind or is late to a festival.

I cannot remember for the life of me which video it is! its been driving me mad for like two days.. can anyone help.
