I’m into fragrances for a while, but vanilla keeps being a mystery for me. I absolutely can’t stand SUGAR aura, but I keep believe that there is something this side as well: more closer to the idea that it actually comes from a flower.. very open to hear your opinions and thoughts, because it a very popular ingredient but very much one side (sugary) interpreted from my perspective. But maybe I was too lazy to discover and deep dive properly👽

this morning I was watching the AD tour of La Pausa, Chanel’s villa, and I found out that Chanel actually has a fragrance called La Pausa, inspired by this mediterranean house. I had no idea those two were connected!!

and it turns out this fragrance matches my iris era very much right now, so…

any favourite iris fragrances you can recommend? or maybe some nice random perfume fact like this one with the villa?
