Speed dating

So I’m in my first play-through and nearing the end of winter 1 (it’s sounding like they’re gonna want me to change it soon). I’ve just started exploring the romance options because prior to now I’ve just been focused on the quests and tasks and was annoyed by the recipes lol. So while I’ve been talking to everyone almost every day I’m pretty low on hearts with the romance-able people. I want to try to marry everyone in my first play-through so my question is would it be possible to marry Amira, Kim, and maybe Giva all in this same winter season if I just drag it on and don’t change seasons haha? I’ve actually been progressing with people relatively quickly but Amira is taking a while. Also if someone asks me out and I reject it will they ever ask me out again? I’ve been avoiding talking to Damon because I think he’s about to ask me on a date and I don’t want to date him right now but I do later. Thanks!

Please help me find a new game 🥺

I’ve (25F) been playing this game on IOS for 6+ months, I’ve completed everything and missed the missions so much I restarted a brand new storyline from scratch

I have been trying to find a game that is similar in community (talking to people to progress the story forward) and also something that’s just running back and forth on a map without overly complicated controls

Any advice appreciated!! Maybe I just need to be patient until Wylde Society comes out 🥲

Here is a list of games I have already tried; and why they just aren’t for me / fitting the cozy casual vibe I’m looking for. Keep in mind I’m restricted by the category of games available to iPhone

- Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit
this was the closest to being a match for me, it was really cute and the chatting to progress story was there, the storyline just didn’t hook me and felt really repetitive trying to get started

- My Time at Portia
I was so hopeful but i had such a hard time getting into it because the map is NOT as straight forward as it was in Wylde Flowers and I kept getting lost and my goodness I felt dumb🤣

- Alba
Cute, animal related, but felt far too juvenile and was completed in 2 days 😅
I guess that means I loved it but Wylde Flowers has me in one heck of a chokehold

Books to Pair with Wylde Flowers

Okay, so hear me out, I want to pair Wylde Flowers with a book that has similar vibes: witchy, small sea-side town, a bunch of cute side-quests.

I have listened to The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore and thought it was pretty good (for the small-town feel).

I think other books that sort of fit this bill includes Debbie Macomber’s The Inn at Rose Harbor series (minus the witchy!)

Maybe The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner (for the apothecary vibes).

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Missing recipes!

It has been around a week in the in-game timeline and I Am not receiving any new recipes, I am nowhere close to finishing them. I have all the cookbooks, and the ones in the mine, but they stopped appearing from fishing and digging.

Any ideas???

Thank you!

Is Year 2 always super slow?

To be fair, I just finished the main story. You guys DID warn me about getting the letter, but I didn't expect it to come at the end of year 1. I'm noticing there doesn't seem to be much a narrative through line. I was told to talk to people, but so far there's just set-ups for small conversations here and there. It FEELS done, though I see that Nate has other secret blueprints available. But overall it feels like busywork at the moment. Should I be doing something different? Or are these "other stories" generally slower paced?

Finished Wylde Flowers… now what?

I just finished the game and I’m ready for a new release or for wylde society to be released! Is there any ETA on either of those?

That aside, any new game suggestions similar to Wylde Flowers? I loved the characters, storylines, relationships, and magic.

“It’s not you, the werewolf is just more fun” lol How can Tara stop dating someone?

Hi!! So, this is my third or 4th time playing through the game (because I love it, obviously). Tara (my character) has always ended up with Kai. I wanted to see if it was much different dating other people, and now Tara is stuck in a painfully boring situation-ship. Can she end the romance and date other characters, or have Ii doomed her to become a magical pub wench; maybe Violet can design a “wench” outfit?? 🤔🤔 Damon is currently at the bottom of the list as we wait for the bees to make enough wax to fill the crazy number of candles required , and there doesn’t seem to be any way for Tara to back out. (Why can’t they just be soy candies, Damon?!?! *Why?!?* lol).
Please send help!!! The ferry is still underwater, so perhaps a carrier pigeon is best 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ Or, you could just reply below.

Thank you so much!!

What Next?

I'm in Winter right now, and realizing how attached I've gotten to this game. I started with Wanderstop after a shocking layoff, and it genuinely helped my severe burnout. (Who knew video games could be so redeeming!) I thought I'd never find another game I liked as much. Now I've happened upon Wyldeflowers, which is a breath of fresh air when I've gotten exhausted from the job search. But I'm dreading the day I finish it. I don't want to leave Fairhaven. But I know a lot of you have. What games would you recommend (similar vibe) after finishing this one? I bought Stardew Valley when I bought my PS5 this Christmas and was trying to find cozy games, but I never started it. Is it comparable? Any other games you'd recommend instead? Now's a good time for me to think ahead, before the Summer Sale is over. Thanks!

Stuck in Spring 1 on iPhone

Hi; first time player and I’ve found that I’m kinda stuck at a stagnant point in the game; I need to find my pestle and mortar to cast the enchantment to move the seasons along but no matter what I do in the game, I feel like I’m not progressing! I also think theres parts of the game that I’m miles ahead in ie I have my chicken coop and barn rebuilt and have chickens, cows and sheep, I’ve started dating in the game, even have a few characters who have moved to intimate friend status… I’m doing the bulletins, I’m growing Kai’s store stock, Sophia’s diner options and Damians drinks… have I done something wrong?

Does the story and characters have enough depth?

I wanna buy this game but I cannot judge the question that I asked well from youtube videos or googling or asking AI. In your experience, compared to Stardew Valley, how well written are the stories of the game and characters specifically? Do they have enough depth and you’d feel they are real humans and characters or it’s more generic stories? I’m looking forward to your answers since I’m close to buy this game, this is the last thing I wanna be sure. Thank you!

New Player Tips Please

Hello everyone, I just got the game and I'm very exited to discover the world and the story.
I wanted to ask you all for some tips and tricks, things you wish you knew at the beginning of the game. Also I do have some questions:
What should I do in the beginning? I did meet everyone, and my only mission is From Bud to Spud.
Should I grab anything I find on the ground (mushrooms, shells, etc.)? Or leave them for later?
Sorry if these are dumb questions. I appreciate any information given.
Thank you very much for your help

How much automation to adopt?

I just turned the season to my first Autumn, and I've gotten a few bots to help me around the farm. Up until now, I had to change the game to relaxed mode because I never had enough time to get anything done. Now I don't have to spend hours fishing to make it in these Fair Haven streets. It's wonderful to offload so many chores (OMG, can't wait to put mining off) but now I'm finding myself with a LOT of extra time on my hands. Trying to determine if I should switch the game back to normal mode if I keep the bots. But what I also love about this game is how relaxing and meditative some of those tasks were. For those of you who use the bots . . . did you find you still had enough to DO once your chores were eliminated? Or did you decide to only use bots for certain chores, or sporadically?

Video: The Westley Story (All Dialogue Year 1 + Epilogue)

After months of work it's finally done!! (Amost) all dialogue spoken by Westley (or about Westley) up to the end of the Spring 2 epilogue, including rejections, breakups, and both versions of the marriage. I know I'm missing at least a couple lines, and of course I didn't include every single outfit comment. That said, this is more or less the entire first year's story from Westley's point of view.

(...Also, full disclosure, I did rearrange a couple dialogues to make a more cohesive narrative, so a couple dialogues are slightly out of the order I encountered them on my playthrough. Nothing too drastic though.)
