Who do you think is the most technically gifted runner-up in X Factor history?

I was rewatching the 2007 series final. Leon Jackson winning was a huge storyline at the time, but vocally, Rhydian was operating on a completely different planet.

His rendition of "Get the Party Started" and "The Phantom of the Opera" showed a level of theatrical vocal control that we rarely saw on a Saturday night ITV show. He was treated like a pantomime villain early on, but his talent was undeniable

Four-judge standing ovations

These used to feel like big moments given how rare they were.

I don't have much memory of the first four series but for 2008-10:

2008

Big Band week had quite a few (Eoghan, Austin, Rachel, Alexandra). Those were the last until Alexandra's performance of Listen in week 8.

2009

Danyl Johnson got a standing ovation for his audition - that was the only one until week 7 (Joe McElderry).

2010

The first one that year (and the only one until the final) was Matt Cardle in week 5.

2011

John Wilding got a standing ovation at the audition but I think that was the last one until the final.

Subsequent years used to get them at the auditions. Sam Bailey is the only person to get one in a room audition.

When Charlie from The Keys was put into The Risk

Charlie said on Twitter on the day this went out that he'd spoken to his band about it, but this was edited out (understandably).

Where there any acts that got eliminated in the live shows you thought could have gone further?

Title says it all really.

It just made me think regardless whether it went to deadlock or it was decided by judges majority there have been certain seasons where certain acts have gone home regardless of what week or series.

There would have been shocks that have made people say that act shouldn't have gone home.

So long story short name any act from any series that you fought should have stayed longer and how would you guys think they would have done in the weeks that they've missed out on and how far should they have least gotten and I need you to be brutally honest on that part?

Harri (Eskimo blonde)

Does anyone remember the group ‘Eskimo blonde’ - a girl called Harri and her friends, both named Gemma. They made it to judges houses, and Simon decided he only liked Harri really and they were sent home.

A year later, they all re-auditioned (Harri by herself and the girls with a new member). Harri was the only one to get through.

Do we know what happened with Harri after that? Did she ever pursue music? She really did have a distinct voice, but I can never find anything about her after the second audition.
