Tini Howard and Isaac Goodhart would become the Writer and Artist for Zatanna section in DC’S QUOTH THE RAVEN … WHATEVER #1. Out in 30 September 2026 🐦‍⬛🎩

It seems the story would be about cute romance story of Zatanna and Constantine.

Good news are Tini Howard seems comfortable writing Zatanna as competent and powerful character even in a lighearted story. While Isaac Goodhart is a big fan of Zatanna and draw Zee's magic so creatively like on DC New Talent Showcase. Like You can see how passionate he is for Zee from the pages above.

Well its one of the segment on the anthology so big chance its a just a 10 page short story like on DC Zatanna panic last year. I think its can be a little Bechdel test to see if Zatanna has returning to become a strong character on her own that written as equal in the story. Hope this could be a good start to see Zatanna can withstand, counter and overhelm modern Constantine passive trait of requiring other character to be dumbed down and/or destroyed for his own benefit.

So, I saw Heretic and Companion…

Now I see why people think Sophie Thatcher would be a perfect Zatanna for the DCU.

Please, DC, give us a Zatanna show or movie already.

How much of her powers come from her bloodline?

I love Zatanna, but I find the idea that people get powers from their genetics uncomfortable. The whole concept of the “metagene” comes close to this, but since it’s pretty random whether it will surface at all and doesn’t manifest in a consistent manner throughout families I find it to be fine.

I don’t think you can fully say that Zatanna being descended from the Homo Magi (and I think she also gets magic from her father’s ancestors) doesn’t flirt with the idea of a race that is effortlessly superior. Though of course Zatanna being as powerful as she is comes from her own skill and determination.

Kelly Thompson "optimistic" about potential Absolute Zatanna spinoff: "I do think a spinoff is a possibility -- I have an interesting idea..."

"I do think a spinoff is a possibility -- I have an interesting idea -- but it has to be positioned correctly -- and DC is being very smart about the Absolute line, in my opinion, and being careful about how big they grow the line. So I'm optimistic, but the timing will need to be right."

If you were making a JL lineup with Zatanna as a member, what numbered placement is she? Who do you think are more essential to add to the lineup before you get to Zee? (Justice League Unlimited 2008 #40)

Not a Fan of Zee & Constantine

To clarify, I don't necassarily hate them. It does make sense to me that they would have dated at some point. It makes even more sense that the relationship was doomed from the start. But I never really liked the moments where when they interact afterwards, there are times where it seems like she's being swept up by him again due to his charm when she definitetly knows better. I have no desire to see them reunite in a romantic context

Maybe that's just me. But I would love for Zee to have a new pairing that is far removed from John Constantine
