I just read Batman: Full Moon. Not a masterpiece, but a really good and enjoyable story! I especially enjoyed the romantic relationship between Bruce and Zatanna, without diminishing either (our heroine is basically the one who saves the day.) The only flaws are the drawings, which are there for the horror mood but didn't blow me away, and the presence of Constantine, which is tolerable and has a few funny lines, but that's the limit. An excellent batanna and a good story, recommended! I'd love to see more Elseworld/other stories where Batman and Zatanna are happy together ❤️
I was thinking since magic girl is very very profitable right now and attracts loyal big fanbase, zatanna has alot of potential for alot of different kinds of stories in DCU but just keep in mind she can't get a solo movie any time soon because she's not that known, how would you introduce her through another superhero films (I would personally want her in wonder woman film) and what kind of stories would get her THAT fandom, she's charismatic and there is alot of flexibility with her
,is a TV show a good idea maybe down the line after few years , I feel like Circe was a bit wasted and her being our introduction to the DCU magic system so I don't know if they can utilise zatanna in a smart way
I personally didn't read alot of zatanna stories, I just started reading her comics last week and realised the gem the DCU keeps ignoring
This opponent of Zatanna had the ability to rewind time, which made Zatanna's spells useless since they need to be said backwards to work, and reversing the time makes her words to be pronounced correctly
She defeats him using palindromes, creating a paradox, it doesn't matter if time is being reversed or not, everything she says is and isn't being said backwards at the same time
A great story to showcase Zatanna's craftiness against unique challenges!
Do you see her as ultimately a good person who occasionally makes a mistake but it's usually because of good intentions? Someone who immediately feels guilty if she used her powers on someone because she was annoyed or on a whim?
Or do you see her as someone who is light but has a bit of a dark side and takes pleasure in her power by transforming people into animals and objects on a whim? Someone who could easily end up being a villain?
Given the small amount of Zatanna content at the moment (or lack there of), this sub will now allow a weekly megathread for some off-topic content in order for community members to stay engaged and get to know each other better.
Use this post as a catch-all thread to talk about whatever video game you're playing that doesn't necessarily fall into the realm of the Zatanna franchise.

I picked up issues #1-2 and #4 today (#3 was sold out at two different shops). I quite enjoyed the three issues I read and added the series to my pull list. I think I might try to track down the previous series by Jamal Campbell as well.
Sorry if this isn't allowed here but I was reading up on both of the others and wonder how Zatanna compares to them.
