Forgot the typo (Its should be RAELC) but I think its could be a fun way of reading Zatanna, especially those who has reading hardship like dyslexia.

Jamal hinting that there would be some team-up beside Zatanna self journey as the Prime Magi. Marlyn Moonlight seems fill one of the spot, which other characters You love to see to be Zatanna's assistant partner in her journey?

Personally would love to see Khalid, Rory Ragman and Vixen.

I hope this post could increase accessibility and enjoyment for those who have a hard time reading Zatanna's backward spells (For example those who has dyslexia).

Zatanna's spells are backward words but forward sentence. On this issue the spells is quite short and the visual is helping to translate the effects of the spells.

Anyway here the translated backward spells from the recently out Zatanna 2026 #1. Hope You could enjoy reading her story!

1. Let's Get You Out To... = Bringing the plague spirit to other area
2. .... A Bigger Stage = Continuation from the first spell.
3. Be Bound. And Keep Still = Holding the plague spirit in place
4. Spirit Release This ... = Zatanna try to release the hold of the plague spirit from the elves it captured, but interrupted
5. Scissors = Zatanna summoning a giant magical scissors to cut the plague spirit's wings
6. Trapdoor = Zatanna use her top hat to escape from the plague spirits's attack
7. Come Into My Office = Zatanna pulled the plague spirit's to her domain
8. Answer Me = Zatanna demand an answer on why the plague spirits's going rampage
9. Spirit Be Sealed and Safe = Zatanna seal the plague spirit while she decide to help and investigate the case
10. You're Free Now. Va'irra = Zatanna freeing the captured Elves

A great balance of Zatanna's personal goal exploration, her showmanship especially during battle, her caring and bringing fun for small folks with her magic. Jamal manage to juggle great introductionary that beginner friendly while fleshing out Zatanna's character, planting mystery and future conflicts for her.
