Media player controls and some fonts are cut off after installing custom font

after installing a custom SF Pro font using SamFonts. The media player controls at the bottom are partially cut off/misaligned, and some text/fonts are also being cut off.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Device: Samsung Galaxy A34 5G

Android: 16

Font: SF Pro Text via SamFonts
