I wonder if it will be better to wait for the SJC-NRT August 2026 dates or just get SFO-NRT at this point?

I don't see available dates for SJC-NRT after 8/16, but I remember there were dates from Sept-Nov last year.

Shall I just wait for the dates (and is it likely to be cheaper than the SFO-NRT one?) or just get the SFO-NRT one?

Any thoughts?

as someone who's very used to budget airlines, i suspected that Zipair would count my cpap as a carry on (even tho i could LITERALLY DIE without my cpap) and internet says they do count it as a carry on but i could get lucky if i meet with a sympathetic worker. i am pre-weighing everything of course, but my only concern it when coming back from Japan, i might go overweight, and don't want to have regert at the time going "oh i could have gotten 2.5kg more of plushies instead of carrying this cpap" lol. pls advice if anyone has experience regarding this, ty!

Hi all, apologies for repeating the mostly asked question.

We are planning to go to Japan in the second week of March. Tickets are around 3000 total (family of 4) now. But I do see that Zipair has sales in November as well as January for travels in March. Does it make sense to wait for those sales or book the ticket now?

Looking at other posts, it appears that the sale price would not apply to March because of cherry blossom season. But, would like to know if anyone was able to get a $550 RTP flight from SFO in March.
