I've been on a bit of a privacy push as of late. I moved to a Pixel 10 with GrapheneOS and have been getting into home-networking (amazing timing, I know). During the process, I heard about a carrier offering IMSI rotation and secondary numbers -- I read up on Cape and it seemed cool.

The service works well. Coverage is solid. IMSI rotation does what it says. The messaging setup is the most useful part in my life. You get three numbers. My primary is for close friends and family. My secondary is for business and acquaintances. The third is strictly a slop number for signups and misc.

Cape and Graphene OS make sense together. I feel like I'm in control of my device, and that means a lot to me. I encourage you to embrace FOSS apps -- you'll find your device becomes more capable, not less. I recommend Proton for your G-Suite replacement, Peel (built on Firefox and runs uBO) for web apps, and Firefox for Android itself for real control over your browsing.
