Prometheus: 808s Edition
Been working on this fanedit for months now. Put a ton of work into this and would like to share it in hopes others will enjoy it too. My biggest gripe with every fanedit to date is the quality. Countless scenes graded, tons of audio worked around, many scenes upscaled and numerous scenes cut. The main goal of this edit is quality. My goal with this edit was to change that.
The flow of this fanedit is based on the Workprint Edition by James Rivers. It is not the same but borrows here and there (i.e scene placement, small snippets here an there). I did not include every deleted scene, only the ones which I felt were important or added extra depth to the film. This edit started from scratch with a 1080p BluRay digital copy including all deleted scenes. 1 scene was not used from the BluRay; the engineer extended fight. The Workprint edition was used as a base for that scene as it is the most complete.
The first release is in 1080p SDR and the second is in 4K HDR with Dolby Vision. Both will have Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound audio throughout. No subtitles are included.
