I'm looking at a 2016 Toyota Corolla with 140k miles from, a certified dealership (100% clean car fax, 1 owner, regular upkeep) . I want to get a pre-purchase inspection but the issue is I can't drive the car to get it inspected because there are no mechanics in my area open on the weekends and I work full days Monday—Friday how do people do this 😭
I believe the dealership offers a 10-day return window. In that instance I could drive the car after work and leave it at a mechanic overnight to pick up the next day, but I don't know if that's advised. (I can't do that before purchasing the car because I have no way to drive down to the dealership without a car to pick up the car and then take the car to a mechanic before they would close (I work fairly late) trust me I've been doing the numbers it just doesn't work :( )
This vehicle has a good carfax (consistent oil checks and break checks, 0 accidents, 1 owner) BUT I don't see anything talking about replacing the CVT fluid or sparkplug or coolant— would that show up in the Carfax? Is that something I should be concerned about?
