Question to everyone who owns Quarry-

Hey guys! Sooo I've been researching which charlie bear to get as my first one. Has to be unjointed because I want to be able to hug them at night without having to worry about breaking something (and I'd always worry about that no matter how well-made the joints are).

I love monsters and everything fantasy, so I ended up falling in love with Quarry. He just looks so cute with his little tusks and his horn and lidded eyes...

Anyway. I've been trying to find videos and pictures that make it clearer, but that's proven to be harder than I expected, so, here I am. I just need some reviews, so to say, from people who already own him.

How does his long fur feel?

How firmly is he stuffed (especially his belly)?

How heavy is he?

How floppy are his legs? Do they fully flop down when you pick him up or they just kinda stay in a sitting position?

I'd be super thankful if anyone could help me with these questions!

Sometimes you just need to hug a platypus

Newest member of the family! Say hi to Peet the Feet and his humongous stompers! Added some glass beads to his belly to give him some heft, and now he's absolutely perfect! I just need some ideas for accessories - Mr.Feet needs some style!

Can't find anything about her

I'm trying to identify this sweetheart of unclear species. Unfortunately, I can only find one single listing or even mention of her (which is the exact eBay listing I bought her from). Google AI pulls all information from that very listing, so that doesn't help either, and reverse image search only came up with the pictures of her exact listing.

What I know:

- Brand is the german brand Kösen

- she's approx. 75cm tall

- some details on the tag point towards her being from the 90s or later (CE certification was introduced in 1985 and required by law since 1995, 5-digit postal codes were introduced in January 1993)

I tried to email Kösen for ID help, but they haven't gotten back to me yet (it has only been a few days so that's absolutely understandable), so I decided to do some research of my own.

I'd be super grateful for any leads, tips and pointers!

Absolutely incredible find

Was just randomly browsing eBay for bigger plushies today because I'm sorely lacking something big to hug at night. That's when I came across her.

Guys. This is a 75cm tall Kösen plush. For reference, they usually charge 180€+ for a 40cm plush. I got her for 50€.

Research... Brings up absolutely nothing. Not a single listing or mention beside the one I found, but from what I could gather they don't make plushies this big in large batches. I might have found an absolute diamond here. I emailed Kösen's customer service hoping to get some pointers and am waiting (and hoping) for a reply sometime soon.

In the meantime- what do you guys think she might be? The seller listed her as a raccoon, which doesn't make much sense to me as she looks nothing like one. Her grey head kinda reminds me of a honey badger, but then the white patches don't match that.

Well, whatever she is, I am so thrilled to have found her and can't wait for her to arrive!

Silly names

This is my little buddy Major Airplane. Named that way for his aviator-y scarf and the fact that he kinda looks like a plane when he lies flat on his stomach. I kinda have a soft spot for silly names, so I was wondering- what silly names did you choose for your plushies, and why? I'd love to hear your stories!

Luna's tag finally arrived!

She usually stays at home, but just in case she's ever going to go somewhere with me (and because it just looks fabulous on her) I ordered her a collar and a customized tag with her name on it and my phone number on the back! Also added a color changing star pendant I had lying around because why not.

(And omfg doesn't she look adorable crossing her paws like that??!)

My beautiful girl is home!

Backed this amazing campaign over half a year ago and have been so excited about it ever since. Every single update was a little moment of joy, and watching these beautiful guys come to life from nothing but fabric samples was such an amazing experience. To see all the little adjustments, all that communication and work that went into the prototypes.

This beautiful creature's name was originally Cedar, but, because that face just keeps reminding me of a song that I've loved since I was teenager many years ago (I am SO close to turning thirty 🥹), I decided to name her Luna.

And let me tell you, she's just perfect. Her weight, her soft fur, the incredible details on her wings, her beautiful face. Not to mention that she's literally two of my favorite animals combined into one. I love her so goddamn much. She's truly my crown jewel.

My friend since day one returned after 15 years 🥹

My very first plush when I was a baby, given to me when I was one day old, was this adorable frog, Bruno. I lost him at some point when I was around 13, he was just gone.

Anyway, my MIL recently gave me my SO's very first plush (an adorable, gigantic caterpillar that lives on top of our wardrobe now) and it made me think of my Bruno again.

Spent week searching, researching, comparing images with what I and my parents could remember, and I was able to identify him! Man when I found the correct image I swear it all came back. And not just that! I actually found a listing on eBay! He was so much bigger in my memories, but, sure, I was way smaller then. But his fabric feels exactly the same, that almost velvety texture and his super squishy belly.

Man I'm just frickin' happy to have my Bruno back. I like to imagine that, while his body is not the very same one I lost, that's my original Bruno in there 🥹

Need some tips on how to help her

So I adopted this adorable girl secondhand, and while I love her to death, I noticed that her eyes dent inwards at the bottom (it's easier to see in the second pic). I've tried to push some more stuffing behind them, but it doesn't really help. Does anyone have any ideas how I could get her eyes to stop bending inwards? Gluing something behind them maybe? And if so, what?

I'd be super thankful for any tips!

His name shall be ✨Partysnax✨!

Found this silly guy at my local drugstore today and just had to take him with me. He kinda reminds me of a Piñata and my favorite childhood game, Viva Piñata Pocket Paradise.

Plus I've wanted a pastel rainbow sheep or llama for a good while, but all I could find till now were this dust magnet Sherpa fabric, which I just hate. Gotta get him a bigger collar sometime, though!
