I’m looking into getting into tenkara fishing, but I’m getting a little overwhelmed and confused by the amount of information online. I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with it.
I’m looking for a tenkara rod around the $50 USD range. I understand that I can’t expect high-end quality at that price, but I also don’t want something that’s going to snap after a week. Are there any brands or models around $50 that you would recommend? Also, what length would be best for someone just starting out?
I’m also wondering about flies. What’s the difference between tenkara flies and regular flies used for fly fishing? Can I use regular fly-rod flies with a tenkara setup, or is it better to buy flies specifically designed for tenkara?

I’ve been looking to get a clip on night vision that works well with a SFP lpvo but it’s my first time buying a night vision optic/attachment so I don’t know what to look for. I don’t want to break the bank since it’s only to use a couple times a month for night time boar hunting. I’ve seen some online for around 250USD but it feels sketchy considering most of them I see are around the 900USD mark. Does anyone have any recommendations and what’s the lowest I should go. Thanks

Hello I’m looking into getting my first bolt action rifle specifically for European driven boar. I was thinking of getting a 308 but I’m worried that a Europe wide lead ban for hunting will be coming in the near future. Are copper bullets as bad as some people make them out to be from what I’ve read some people claim they lack the penetration power of a lead bullet and some people claim they work just about the same. What do y’all think about lead free bullets would I be better off getting a 30-06?
