Can I Send Seller Money Back via PayPal?
I bought a leather jacket & it has mildew inside. I don't think the seller knew beforehand. I messaged them and said I'd be happy with a partial refund & I try to clean it. Not sure how it'll turn out being leather, but wanted to give it a try.
Anyway, I had to report the item before anything could be done. They've refunded the full amount. We're both new and didn't know partial refunds couldn't be done. They said they'd be happy to refund amount for the jacket and I keep it. Are they now out of pocket for postage too?
I feel bad now & wouldn't mind sending them something back. Could this be done through PayPal? I don't want them to get anything bad on their account if I ask them in the messages. Like we'd be doing a transaction outside of Vinted.
