South Brisbane/Redlands GPs who can prescribe

Anyone got any recommendations? I recently moved here and I’m overwhelmed at even the thought of starting to look for one

How are they allowed?

why is it they’re able to get away with claiming certain supports (allied health mostly) are being denied to people because the impairments they deal with are not related to the participant‘s disability when

  1. not only has so much information has been provided in reports, including clearly addressing each of the points in the reasonable and necessary criteria, by at least two in each discipline, plus by two OTs in their FCAs and recommendations - note completely independently of each other without ever having spoken to each other or discussing what would be said - and the leading GP on that particular disability in the entire state providing detailed information and support recommendations about the participant

and

  1. It takes a few minutes online to find multiple sources written by leading international experts on that particular disability discussing the exact same impairments and issues. Many of those sources report that these impairments affect a very high proportion of people with the condition (often 80–90%), explain the relationship between the disability and the impairment in detail, and describe the significant impact they have on daily functioning and participation

I’m just not comprehending how they’re still able to do it and get away with it
