We're being targeted by an unjust system and judged by an unfair audience. Villainized constantly, unable to speak on the narratives against our individual character. So many young black men are being taken out by external factors, please don't let them win by taking yourself out. Know there is peace and love in brotherhood within our community and you're never alone in feeling invisible or isolated. Look after yourself and check on the brothers around you. If you have the finances, resources, or support system to keep going please continue to utilize whatever you need to feel at peace.

All love to my brothers and stay safe.

"Good" and "bad" can be subjective but the general understanding of how we view ethics is how the question is phrased. Also, the concept of a person being entirely good or bad is too simple for a realistic worldview but for the sake of discussion, it's also general.

The sentiment that black men are ignored for their genuine efforts but happily called out for their bad behaviors. Do you feel like this is something you experience often, with yourself or the people around you? Do you think our community disproportionately gives more attention to black men that fit a certain behavioral pattern, good or bad? Is this a nonissue entirely?

Asking in good faith so hoping the responses are honest and nuanced.
