to preface, i really do not have much knowledge about 3D printers and hope to stay below the $500-600 range if possible. i’m looking into making cosplay armor (specifically for a Mandalorian costume, if that is of any help) and am weighing my options of either commissioning somebody to buying my own printer to make one. i don’t even know how to go about starting to look at different brands or types of printers, so any recommendations or tips for searching would be greatly appreciated!

hoping this is the right subreddit and flair to use! i’m looking into commissioning a suit of armor for a Din Djarin cosplay, specifically his second full Beskar suit. possibly also for the flight suit/under clothing for the costume, but i am more specifically posting for the armor! i’ve looked on etsy a bit but also figured i’d look here for some recommendations, thanks!
