Question to the Pearl experts out there. I purchased this snare advertised as an Elite Pearl Sensitone. It arrived about a week ago and I was very confused as for it did not say elite on the badge but it contained 10 lugs and Super Hoops, but not “Super Hoops II” that the elite comes with. Well what I learned is this is the original Pearl Sensitone 10 lug with the original engraved Pearl Super Hoops. This snare is early 90’s before they made the elite line with super hoops II and made 8 luge Sensitone. Is this essentially an elite? What is the difference? Did Pearl realize they can make a cheaper version (8 lug), then make the elite line (10lug)? What happened there? From what I learned this is the more desirable Sensitone since it is the “older” model with the first line of Pearl Super Hoops.

Not exactly my type of music but it’s popular around where I live. I still had alot of fun playing this regardless. I filmed this a few days ago, but yesterday when warming up to this song I decided to grab the extra mic stand and try singing while drumming. That was a boat load of fun but my wife wants to practice singing, so I had my fun then backed off. I’ll probably record my terrible singing with my drumming and make everyone suffer. Howdy. This was my attempt at learning this song yesterday evening. It was and is a very fun challenge. Cool Breeze is a heavy influence for me so it was slightly intimidating playing his work. I am trying to learn this song as a personal milestone by July 3rd, marking my 4th month playing and learning drums. I hope you enjoy even through my mistakes. I’ll get it right.

Howdy everyone. Here is my second attempt at recording this from a couple days ago. I am a lot more satisfied with this one even though I still made a few off beat mistakes. This song has my top 5 favorite kick and snare patterns ever. Big respects and RIP to St.Pere.
Also thank you all for being so nice and patient with my covers. I drum a lot more stuff and I will be posting those on my Reddit for fun and personal record keeping. HUM has the best fan base ever.

Hey there. This is my first and only take I did yesterday for this song. I have not tried this in about a month. I have been drumming for a little over 3 months now and it feels so damn good to finally do this song some justice. I am always working on improving so let’s do this!

New Drummer here. Got this Tama Imperialstar as my first kit on March 3rd. I am lucky enough to jam/Play with a band as of 2 weeks ago (yikes). We are currently working on 3 originals. We are trying to figure out what songs to cover. I don’t believe it will be Jerry due to everyone’s style differences, but I feel so cool jamming it on my own as well as many other personal favorite bands.
