Applying to cao year after LC
I hadn't gotten the cao explained to me at all during the LC 😭 I had done 95% of study at home with 0 help (only simplestudy and other apps) Guidance counselor was super kind but she was the only one for the whole school which made it hard to ever see her (not her fault at all)
so I didn't know you could still apply to the cao even if you were taking a gap year 💔 I'm going to apply this November and have ofc done research myself about it but is anything I should 100% know about it? also is it harder to get into courses when applying with the new LC students especially now with the new course? I will be applying to mainly history courses although psychology or astrophysics were my main choices for a long time!!
this could be a giant waste of time but I freak myself out like crazy over these things 😭

because why was I a 5th year student having adults long passed the lc calling me lazy or saying I "wouldnt survive the real world" because I had been putting off studying???
also seen much worse towards other students.
why join a lc subreddit just to make the students feel worse and more stressed thsn they already are??
+ shoutout to the many helpful adults, teachers and students from past lcs actually giving advice and being kind to the lc students!! I am so greatful for you and im sure many other students are too.
