Need Advice: how to help myself without professional help
I'm 17, and I just wanted to ask for ideas of how to help myself besides um professional help. I'm pretty sure that you need some kind of parental consent? When it comes to that kind of stuff, both my parents don't really believe in Mental Health, and even if they do, we don't have any sort of financial means because they're both pretty much unemployed right now due to some problems.
I've been pretty concerned because I've started hurting myself recently and I feel like I might really go through with something once I find a method...? Right now, I feel clear headed so I can think of stuff objectively but oftentimes I feel like I'm on edge. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm planning to get professional help anyway once I turn 18 this year, somehow, but right now I'm worried I might not last until that happens.
