Another productive day outside of Philadelphia. Low, clear water and still was able to coax a half dozen or so smallies out of hiding. The bigger of the two here I actually missed a few weeks ago. i watched him blow up and miss a real frog that was swimming towards the bank. I tied a frog popper on and he ate it first cast but either short struck it or I yanked it out of his mouth. Got him to eat on the first cast again yesterday but this time on the purple game changer shown in the last pic.

Second, and much prettier, fish was caught in some really good current and hit the streamer harder then Ive ever experienced in my years of fly fishing. These smallies that grew up in these big, strong river currents pack quiet a punch for their size

S.E. Pa. caught on a game changer with a 7 wt in some heavy current.
