Pov?

The greatest achievement a narcissist can make when ignored, when their energy (emotions) is cut off, is to try to make you look foolish and incompetent, simply to make themselves feel in control. This is laughable because they are naive, and their weakness is easily exploited if you study their thought processes.

I want to ask this question to people who have experienced depression, stress, and living with narcissistic and neurotic personalities: How did you change your lives from overthinking and stress, and how did you achieve a glow-up?

Freud

Freud's Psychology of Dark Humor and Laughter in the Face of Death and Pain

When a person stands on the precipice, where there is no escape from absolute pain or certain death, the mind momentarily detaches itself from its tragic reality, producing a striking paradox: dark humor. How can this absurd rebellion in the darkest of moments be explained? Sigmund Freud returns to unpack this complex phenomenon as the highest form of narcissistic triumph of the self.

Freud devotes a separate and profound study to the concept of "humor" (which here translates as dark humor or gallows comedy) as a phenomenon radically different from a fleeting joke. This theory takes shape within his quest to understand how the human psyche copes with trauma. Freud argues that humor in tragic situations is not a sign of surrender, but rather a "declaration of rebellion" by the ego, which categorically refuses to submit to the suffering of reality or break before its threats.

In the moment of terror or pain, a dramatic psychological transformation occurs; The superego detaches itself from its role as a harsh censor and assumes the role of a compassionate guardian or a caring mother. It views the terrifying situation and the fearful ego as an adult views the anxieties of a young child, minimizing the magnitude of the disaster. This minimization results in a massive release of the pent-up anxiety that was intended to confront the pain, transforming that excess energy into laughter. It is a form of narcissism that says: Look, this world, full of dangers, is nothing but a child's game to be ridiculed.

According to Freud, black comedy is equivalent to denial in the mechanisms of psychological defense, but it is distinguished by dignity and nobility, as the individual succeeds in deriving pleasure and achieving psychological superiority from the very heart of the tragedy.

Pov…?

As human beings, we strive for progress, science, and discovery. However, human nature tends to see only what we want to see and deny reality because we chase after our desires and the things that bring us comfort and the greatest amount of money. We cloak this in the name of freedom, forgetting that the first step towards freedom is not money.

It is thought. That is why we see the upper class killing those who question, because they ask questions, and when they ask questions, they seek answers. If they find answers, they become educated. If they become educated, they will undoubtedly become aware and then begin to analyze, and this does not serve the interests of the elite.

Educational systems in Third World countries do not develop; rather, they deteriorate. Scientific research centers are not funded but left to stagnate. Will this produce a developed generation or a stagnant one?

point of view :

We were born into a generation that responds to injustice with fervor, rejecting the nonsense of family and traditional values. We make mistakes because we are learning, not because we are lazy. We accept change and freedom of expression, and everyone is free to be themselves. However, our families don't agree with this view.

They themselves hold the key to power and its application over us. They grew up in a generation that accepted oppression and endured the psychological strain of having money and power, believing that those who possess it must acknowledge it and offer greater gratitude to the ruling class and family.

This bothers me because they want to impose their own problems on us, and we weren't born to teach or re-educate them. They exaggerate this, and if you confront them, they take on a special role.

I don't hate myself…but I don't fully understand myself. How can someone be aware of all their mistakes and still fall into them? How can they see the right path clearly and then choose another?

I watched a video about psychiatrists and how many patients they treated. The answer was zero cases. This made me wonder, if they didn't treat any cases, why do they have any importance in society when they only diagnose cases?

Is it human nature that a person is born with an evil instinct, or is it society and its environment that transforms him into a person who knows no mercy?

Despite everything I've been through, I know I haven't received any love from my parents since I was five. Their love was limited to providing food, drink, safe shelter, clothes, and focusing on my studies. But when I turned 18, I realized I was only fulfilling their demands against my will, even though I was subjected to anger, violence, and manipulation from the beginning. I only discovered love when I watched videos about it, which evoke many emotions. I feel joy and security instead of feeling it with my family.

Being blessed with a mind that analyzes, develops, and seeks the truth, only to be shocked by what it discovers and then continue on the path—this is what distinguishes us as humans and creates a richer life than living behind a false facade.

narcissistic personality

One of my friends has narcissistic traits and was thriving on the current reaction he had orchestrated. However, I noticed that they lack a crucial element: ensuring a secure future. To live in peace, they only seek moments to gain someone else's gratitude or to elevate their own self-worth.
