Not sure how to fix the hole in this knitted(?) top! Do I now need to learn how to knit/crochet? 🥲
Hiya all, need a bit of help with this top - I love it so dearly but have no knitting or crocheting(?) experience as to how I go about it. I put a ? because i have no idea what this might ‘fall’ under!
I also posted this into the r/sewing page but was told might be good to ask here too.
I have a sewing machine (won’t be helpful here I’m guessing) and know how to hand embroider if the latter skill could possibly come in handy on how to fix it.
I’m not looking to make it look absolutely brand new (i’m not that arsed really LOL), just want to fix it enough it that won’t all unravel at a later point 😭
I have a gold embroidery thread from DMC that might closely match. Not sure if I tried to do a blanket stitch (or something else to try and weave the loose points back to the rest of the top) if that’ll be any use or not :(
Second picture is the same as first pic but just has a piece of paper behind the hole, wasn’t sure if that would be helpful or not 😂🥲
