Barbarian Dark Urge - Khuragar

So far a Barbarian Dark Urge play through has been so fun. I’ve used the Beserker class to justify the Urges, and constant need for bloodshed. I’m playing it as Semi-Resistant(Mostly Embrace), as he still craves the slaughter and worships the Dead Three but in a way that portrays them as cruel, but reasonable gods.
He only saves lives when it benefits his goals for revenge, and leaves those who will not fight to their doom if he does not loose himself in the frenzy and kill them himself.

Bit of lore without spoiling gameplay.

Khuragar’s origins prior to the events in game his life began in the Spine of the World. He was raised in a cruel tribe that was believed to be one of the lost Uthgardt tribes that eventually started to worship the Dead Three as pantheons. However they were worshipped not in a conventional sense most civilizations know of, instead they were cruel masters that represented the brutal life in the savage lands.
Bhaal spoke to young Khuragar the most as a boy, and booned him great martial prowess as he fought skirmishes with warring tribes. Bhaal did not care about anything else but martial prowess, and blood spilled in combat.

Khuragar despite worshiping Bhaal only wanted honorable combat, he despises the weak though and does not hesitate to end the lives of those to cowardly, or unable to fight even if it means assured death. For Bhaal does not care where blood is spilled, so long as it spills.

Berserker Durge -Khuragar

Bit of head cannon lore: Before the events of the Dark Urge story line he was in the Spine of the World. Khuragar was apart of one of the missing Uthgardt tribes, turns out the tribe wasn’t killed off but they strayed from the worship of Uthgar. Khuragar was just a boy when everyone started to worship the Dead Three.
Out in the frontier the gods were cruel, and merciless, but not exactly evil like in civilization. Bane being the chief deity represented leadership, and power through strength. Myrkul represented death in its purest form. Bhaal however was the god of War, and bloodletting, this is who called to young Khuragar. As if the young boy could hear him speaking to him, telling the boy to go forth and be the embodiment of carnage. The young boy was already training to be a warrior, as all boys do in the tribe.

Fast forward to being a young man just barely 17, Khuragar and his kinsmen were in a perpetual war with the other Uthgart Tribes. The smell of burning camps, and flesh resonated with the boy. The screams of Men, Women, and Children alike only fueled his lust for the kill. Blood is what his god demands, blood is what Khuragar shall give Bhaal in worship.

This character was heavily influenced by Warhammer’s Norscan faction and their views on the Chaos gods

Flaming Fists Veteran

This character served in the Flaming Fists for years before being betrayed while returning home from one of the many border wars due to internal politics in the Fists. He swore an Oath of Vengeance to seek out those who wronged him while still upholding the law of the land before being abducted. He has two reasons now to make it back to the city.
