I was told, don't feed the pigeons, they were right.

I've been feeding feral pigeons for 8 months now, from last year's fall, until very recently. I fed them everyday, multiple times a day during the winter, and now they've reproduced and have become the nuisance that everyone says they are.

I stopped feeding them but breaking them of their dependency has been difficult, even after being aggressive toward them and spraying them with water, they show up everyday at 5:30 a.m. and they just camp out. They don't leave, they coo, they shit, and they're causing property damage. They're pecking everything, mortar, window frames, you name it.

If you feed feral pigeons be careful. Don't feed them in your residential areas, or if you do, do it few and far between. Pigeons can easily become dependent, especially if you feed them premium seeds and grains.

Word of advice: Don't buy from HSC after 2026.

HSC has quality seeds, and their seeds produce strong strains, but word of advice, after 2026, don't buy directly from HSC, use a 3rd party vendor instead. HSC has a terrible refund policy, one which will have you reaching out to your financial institution to initiate a chargeback. When seeds become illegal again, banks won't be able to offer chargebacks from seed companies because of the new revisions to the Hemp Bill making seeds illegal.

I'm giving you guys this advice from personal experience after dealing with HSC directly. I've used all sorts of vendors in the past without any issues, but if the issue that came up with HSC happened after 2026, I'm confident that I would have been out of money. With all of that said, I would still recommend their seed stock, just, don't buy it from them.

I'm convinced that all "improvements" are just made to frustrate the consumer.

Bought an MX Keys S, an "upgrade" from MX Keys, and it's actually more of a pain than I thought it would be. Basic functions have to be remapped through the software because why not more steps? More steps is always an "improvement."

I bought old-fashioned donut holes and found a chemical foreign object stuck to the donut. It looks like plumber's putty, I touched it, and it smeared on my finger; it smelled like chemicals. Food contamination is beyond the scope of just bad quality, it rises to the level of health and food safety.

I reached out to this company to ask for a refund on 3/18/26, since then, they have made a half-hearted attempt at rectifying this, and I still haven't reimbursed for the cost. And most recently some joker from the company wants to tell me that "the matter is closed."

Don't buy anything from this company, they have bad reviews all over the internet and they poison their donuts with chemicals, then play games with giving you a simple refund.
