Taking semesters off to travel

Could I just take 2 semesters off to travel in Asia?

Background: I wanted to take a gap year after graduation, but after talking with people, I realized that this break would look really bad on my resume, especially as a fresh grad, with a gap of 1 year with nothing in it.

After looking into the registrar's office https://registrar.gatech.edu/current-students/readmission#two-or-more: "Effective Summer 2022, Georgia Tech's Readmission policy is updated to allow students to sit out two consecutive terms without requiring Readmission."

Fall 2027 & Spring 2028: Travel

Summer & Fall 2028: Classes and graduate

2nd question: If I wanted to make it a full year, could I just register for like APPH 1040 during the summer online, and continue travelling around? Just so I am not sitting out 3 or more semesters. After I would come back and finish my final classes and graduate in the fall.

Gap Year After College

How bad would it be to take a gap year after college to travel?

Wanted to move to SE asia and study a language for a year after graduating, also explore some countries while I'm at it. I will have had 3 internships by the time I graduate from a good Chem E uni, 1 R&D, 2 manufacturing. I will graduate in 1 year. Would this massively affect my employment opportunities? If so, is there anything I could do during my travels to not hurt me? (maybe working on some projects, or something)

Amish in Vietnam

If I met an Amish person on rumspringa, and wanted to fly them across the world to Vietnam, where should I take them? I think it would be cool to go to the highlands and ride through the rural regions on a motor bike, but I also want to come up with more city activities.

I am joining a lab, and I really want to make a good impression with my professors.

I have 1.5 years left in school, and am heavily considering PhD, or at least want to have it as an option when I graduate.

I have met with my PhD student virtually, and we have gotten to know each other. My PhD student has 2 advisors. I want to set up a meeting with both of my professors and talk to them. They study carbon capture research.

How could I email the professors? Just ask for a meeting to introduce myself and ask some questions?

How could I make a good impression with my professors? What are things that you'd recommend when joining a new lab?

What bf am I at? Guesstimate for how much I would have to lose to be at 12%? Main goal is just a flat stomach, you can see that it protrudes out a bit on the side profile.

What are some Chem e clubs that your university has?

I want to start a club while I’m in university, I can’t seem to find ideas though. My school already has chem-e-cube, car, sports, and jeopardy. It doesn’t have to be aiche, but what chem-e related clubs do / did your schools have? Or if you have any club ideas, let me know.
