The arch enemy of the podcast

How did Mark Twain become the enemy of the podcast? I am in that un-enviable stage of being caught up on the podcast for a long time already and so, naturally, I am re-listening to the show, starting from e100.
I am currently on the episode 333 (again) and there was a Mark Twain fact (or maybe it was the one before, not sure, not important). But he is decidedly not the enemy of the podcast in that one yet. There were even some good words uttered on his behalf.
I can't remember the atrocities Mark Twain had done and in which episode was he revealed for who he was. What was the story/fact?
Thank you :o)

Hermits and Hytale nowadays

I don't really use any social media apart from watching YT videos. So, I was wondering if any hermits in their social media posts or VODs mentioned their take on Hytale now, when it's been a while since the original release and their play around.
There was quite a bit of hype when the game came out and many hermits posted videos of them playing which I quite enjoyed.
Did the whole thing just fizzled out? Was the game a wash, due to it being introduced to the same world where Minecraft is loved and played?
I'm sure many people outside of hermit universe play it and it has its player base, but are any of the hermits still occasionally playing or commenting on it?
While I haven't played the game, I thought it had potential when I saw it but I don't follow news so not sure if it's waiting (and so do hermits) for the main release or if it's already out in its final form.
What do you guys think of it?
PS: I'm posting it here because I am specifically interested in the hermits' (and their fans') take on the situation, as they have a very specific relationship with Minecraft and that would inform their view of Hytale.

Thanks guys.

Wels in Pearl's latest video

In the video of 14 hermits rebuilding Pearl's base (what a project!), although he didn't have any camera time, apart from one screenshot, Wels was credited as present at the end.
I am really happy he was on the server and maybe planning to do some building on his own.

I know that he might have just joined in as a helping hand, but I really miss his videos and so it felt nice to see that he is still around.

This is my first season when I am watching his videos and I enjoy them a lot! I have no problem with him focusing on other things in life, but just wanted to shout out that he was spotted and that I am happy for it and that I wish him well :o)

A new use for Magma Cream

I feel like something so "magical" should have additional usage, apart from brewing and crafting exactly one type of a rather abundant block. Its potential is underutilized.
I think it could work a bit like wax for copper, but using magma cream on a block would imbue it with latent heat and the snow wouldn't gather on it.
Dealing with snow is a pain known to all.
Let's face it, the string option is also a huge pain in the butt and is visible and all around not a good time to mess around with.
But we have magma cream, an essence of magma and heat. Why not?

Tango's Decked Out building streams vs enjoyment of the final product

EDIT: Guys, thank you all sooo much. This is exactly why I have made this post. I am blown away by the overwhelming encouragement to watch the building process. Many of you have explained it so beautifully, why it is worth watching or what does it bring you. I also thank you for the reminder that watching Tango's streams is supporting him too. Awesome, I'll definitely watch the process and can't wait for the playthroughs :o)

Hi guys,

I loved watching hermits play DO2 and back then, I didn't watch any building progress. Be it Tango's YT episodes or his streams.

But this time around I love watching his work.

My question for you and your experience and feeling:
Would you recommend not to watch the building progress and, inevitably, spoilers for the game, for a person really looking forward to hermits' attempts and playthroughs?
Did watching Tango's build process take away some enjoyment from the later live runs?

I feel inclined to watch the build but I am honestly trying to get your take on this, based on the previous seasons' experience.

Thank you.

I've made myself a title screen diorama

EDIT: Wow, thank you all so much! I'm super happy you like it and it definitely encourages me to continue. I am currently working on Hollow Knight one

It's my very first diorama attempt. Using polymer clay made it doable for me as you can "save" progress by baking it. I think, if you squint, it doesn't look too terrible. What do you guys think? :o)

S02 E12 - Janice Soprano's action

Spoilers for the s2e12.

---------------------------

---------------------------

Hi all,

I have only just finished the second season so please don't spoil anything further. But I wanted to ask about your opinion on Janice's killing Richie.

I was rather surprised that she did that and didn't see it coming. Do you think her character writing was good/understandable at that point? She loved him and they were getting married. I understand that he hit her but did the reaction make sense to you?
She is a feminist, although I am not sure how deeply she was truly affected by her spiritual journeys and experiences. But we as the viewers are led to think that she is a bit calculating and not too true to her projected image.
I just feel that at that moment and her being so in love with him would mean that she either lied to herself that Richie will change, or at most would have a change of heart and tried to break it up with him. But to shoot him right away came as a shock.

What is your take on this?
