huge modpack w/ a fps problem
First, I want to say that English is not my native language, and I appreciate any attention from anyone trying to help me solve this in any way.
Basically, I’ve been having problems with my FPS dropping from 40–50 down to 5–15, and it doesn’t seem to be related to graphics quality or render distance. I tried lowering everything and nothing changed. Whenever I get close to my house, this happens. I’m playing with 10GB of RAM allocated, Minecraft is installed on an SSD, and my graphics card is an RTX 5070. I’m using Modrinth with 407 projects (mods, libraries etc).
I would really appreciate it if someone could help point me in some direction, because I haven’t been able to figure out what’s causing this. Btw when i distance myself 50 blocks from the ("immense") house and fps go up to 60 somehow
(Before I had the house finished, this almost never happened, and when it did, it only lasted for a very short time.)
