Contract expectations

Howdy everyone, I've finally cleared all the hoops and will be signing a contract and enlisting soon; what should I be looking for on the contract itself? I'm joining an ARNG unit as a uh60 pilot, I'm being told I'm going to a 15 series AIT after basic and then straight to WOCS and flight school. Are all of the specific schools and dates going to be on the contract, or just the end result? Under what circumstances would I want to say 'hey something is missing on this contract'?

I'll take a double quarter pounder with extra pickles and some ice water, thanks

I made it! Help me help you

Howdy everyone, I just got selected by a National Guard Army Aviation board. I know the process can be long and confusing so I'd be happy to give back a little and answer any questions any of you all may have!

Need PT advice for rehabing a moderately injured shoulder

27M, 5'9, 175lbs, no medications (not even OTC), otherwise in good health

Howdy everyone, I sustained some kind of tendon/ligament injury durring an MMA demonstration (I am an instructor), and for the past 2 weeks it has been healing at a soul crushingly slow pace. MOI was someone jerking on my arm as hard as they could by grabbing my wrist when I thought they were just going to be going through the motions, instant sharp pain shot up my front deltoid and bicep. It was one of those injuries where I just knew it was gonna be the bane of my existence for a few weeks at least. Bicep part feels fine now, front deltoid is still having issues. Sitting around doing nothing it doesn't hurt but if I tweak it by moving just the wrong way it hurts for the rest of the day (sharp spike to 7/10, dull at 4/10 after) and then feels fine again in the morning. I'm going to need to take the army AFT again in about 2 or 3 months, I'd really appreciate some advice for rehabbing this thing as fast as possible so I can do pushups without hurting myself, and avoid having this be a life long issue.

I'm not in the army at this very moment and my health insurance is terrible and really only good for keeping the tax collectors off my back every April so I'm medically kinda on my own for the moment. I'll include a pain diagram for reference.

Thanks in advance for the help

Pulled off a bit of a miracle

Howdy everyone, just thought I'd share a success story rather than asking for help for once. This is my first ever tank, started on April 18th this year, and I was going for as close to a self sufficient ecosysyem as possible. I did a ton of research beforehand and played the rest by ear. Well, I must be doing something right, because I found out today that the Indostomus Paradoxus in my tank spawned! Here's some of the babies, looks like they're decent size too so the meiofauna in there must be small and numerous enough for them to grow!

Honestly the tank has really exceeded expectations, I drop spinach and algae wafers in there once every 1-2 weeks and test the water at the same interval and that is it for regular maintenance. I'd do water changes if nitrates were building up but all nitrogen compounds stay flat at zero no matter what I do. The biggest issue I had was a massive vorticella outbreak but I think I finally beat that with H2O2 and salt dips for effected shrimp. If the indostomus population gets so big the copepods and ostracods can't keep up I might have to see if my LFS will take some or something but I'm pretty jazzed that the tank is stable enough that the indostomus felt comfortable spawning since from what I've read that's kind of tough to pull off. I wasn't trying to breed them but I wasn't not trying to breed them either haha.

Side note/ question: I was weighing the idea of adding 1-2 sparkling gourami in there, but now Im a little concerned they'd eat the indostomus fry. Is that a concern or do sparkling gourami mostly stick to eating inverts? There are plenty of scuds in there for them to snack on at the moment.

Seeking Contact info for Mather, CA

Hello everyone, I apologize in advance for the applicant question but I don't think the applicant sub will be super helpful in this particular instance. I'm a CA ARNG applicant in the final stages of the process. My packet is squared away, I'm just looking for LORs and a unit to pick me up at this point. I have an interview soon for the units down in SoCal and I will say yes if they offer me a slot, but there's a medevac unit of 60s in Mather (pretty sure they're with 1-168th) that I've lived right next to for most of my life that I'd love to join. I have no idea if they even need pilots right now, but if anyone would be able to make the introductions I have a competitive packet and would be extremely grateful for a chance to interview with that unit.

Again sorry for the intrusion, and thanks for your time!

Dissolved O2 requirements

Hello everyone, I have a heavily planted 20g long that I'd like to ad some otos to, but I'm a bit concerned about the O2 dip at night. I've measured dissolved O2 throughout the typical day, the absolute lowest it gets is 3.6mg/L at around 8am, and the tank gets to 9mg/L by around 10:30am and stays there until 10:30pm when the lights come off. Their tank mates would be neocaridina and amano shrimp and a handful of indostomus paradoxus (and the meiofauna the indostomus eat). Chemically the water is pretty pristine, 0 ammona, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, 2 dkh, 9 dgh. Tank is unfiltered so there is a lot of biofilm and algae to graze on in there even with all the crustaceans.

Anti clado salt dips

Howdy everyone, I have one shrimp who definitely has clado. Im gonna salt dip him, but google research is a bit unclear as to what kind of salt to use, only saying to avoid marine salt and table salt. Anyone have an exact salt product that is 100% safe for salt dipping a clado shrimp?
