Ive recently obtained a 1944 m1 carbine and have been on the lookout for a authentic WW2 m4 bayonet and since there are many later models i was wondering if you guys believe this to be authentic WW2 or later edition.

Is this m4 bayonet WW2 or later

Ive been looking for a bayonet for my m1 carbine and I really want an authentic WW2 bayonet as my m1 is stamped 1944. Any bayonet knowers who could tell me if this is the real deal?
