Round count conversion question (experienced input only please)

Round count conversion question (experienced input only please)

(**picture for attention**)

In terms of the mag tube extension, which is easier:

Converting a 1301 tactical (factory 7+1) to a 5rd mag tube by removing the extension.

OR

Converting a 1301 tactical C (factory 5+1 like pictured) to a 7rd mag tube by adding an extension?

If i were to need to transition from 5rd to 7rd, or 7rd to 5rd, which one is more convenient? I had assumed they were essentially the same, but have read otherwise.

Thanks in advance.

Whats your favorite diaphragm call & reed count?

Ive been in the search of my favorite mouth call in terms of diverse sounds. Right now, I like the Bone Cillector Magician. I recently picked up the Power Calls Beau Brooks signature series 3 pack. Right away, I noticed PC's reeds are a much softer/thinner latex, and have a looser tolerance than the BC calls I am used to and comfortable with. I almost feel like im completely starting over in terms of using them. I wish more companies offered 4-reed calls, but they are hard to find.

Help needed: ARC fire light primer strikes

Having ARC fire issues.

-Triarc 12.5" upper with mid-length gas

-Radian lower

-Geisselle SSA-E-X trigger

-ASDesigns ARC fire safety

-ASDesigns lever blocker (needed with Geisselle triggers to stop lever overtravel)

-A5 buffer system with H3 buffer installed.

(Spare Tubbs flatwire spring and 3.8oz buffer)

Currently the gun cycles fine in semi, but once switching to ARC, it fires once, ejects the spent brass, chambers a new round, and light primer strikes it. It has cycles 2 - 3rounds occasionally, but most often, one round followed by a light primer strike.

What I have noticed is that there is alot of slop in the lever blocker. It is not a snug fit in the lower, and has wiggle room in all directions.

If I take the upper off, and press the lever forward against the lever blocker and pull the trigger, it binds up, and the firing pin will not drop.

My question is, did i not remove enough material from the Geisselle trigger, do I need to find a way to adjust the lever blocker (unsure of how), or something else?
