Bugcheck after black screen
[I put this in hardware but there’s a slight chance it could also be software]
So yesterday I was playing games but had to leave my pc for a few minutes. When I came back to it and moved my mouse my pc probably crashed or something and gave me a black screen with the text “Your device has a problem. Force restart.” And it restarted. After it restarted I tried Windows Memory to see if that was the problem but there was nothing. So then I decided to look into Event Viewer but I’m not a person with the most knowledge with it. But I did see a Critical problem and it said something along the lines of “System turned off without cleanly shutting down” which could be the force restart I think. But before that I saw an Error problem that said something about a bugcheck?? This was that message: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00020001 (0x0000000000000028, 0x0000000000000002, 0x6500000000000000, 0x000000011b21c6e0). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\051626-12218-01.dmp. Report Id: b2fcaf12-73fb-411e-8ad0-5546df0c050e.
But I have no clue what a bugcheck is… or what all this means tbh. After this I turned off my pc and haven’t turned it back on again because I’m kinda scared after what happened lol
Things I have noticed which may not have caused the problem but I thought may be important to mention as well. 1) When I leave my pc alone for a bit and later come back I’ve noticed it has difficulties with picked up where it left off. Usually the fans are blowing quite loud but it never gave me a black screen before.
2) A few weeks ago I changed my AIO fans but I didn’t take out the full thing because I didn’t have extra thermal paste to put on again when putting it back. I didn’t think much of it since it’s just replacing fans. But since that I’ve heard water sounds from my pc when I start it up or when the fans blow faster. It’s not a leak since there’s no water leaking from anywhere. It sounds like the water tries to push through something. And lately it’s more and more. At first the water sounds was less than a second and now it’s almost 2 seconds… I don’t know if this is a bad thing and if it’s keeping it from properly cooling my cpu. Because if it’s not cooling my cpu probably that may have caused the black screen problem…
It’s a long text I’m sorry but I wanted to explain things properly. And I hope someone can help
