Any seeds I still have time to plant this summer?
I have a big ol’ bare patch in my yard. Is there any blooming thing I could throw some seeds out that would still grow/flower in what’s left of the summer? Fairly good sun verging on stuck in the heat during the hot late afternoon.

What is the plan for the upcoming I-5 closure?
Has anyone heard/seen any sort of plan for rerouting traffic during the upcoming closure of I-5? Seems like by now there would be at least some public service announcements. Maybe I’ve missed them? My worst fear is they will leave it to be some sort of Mad Max Thunderdome situation & since I live in north Portland, I know my neighborhood is going to get gridlocked.
