What is the going labor rate for full service auto shop?

Like the subject says, just curious if anyone knows what the going rate for labor is at a full service shop. One shop recently quoted me $195 per hour which seems a little high. Had an alignment shop quote me about $135 for a lower control arm assembly on an older Lexus sedan. That seemed reasonable. Shopping around now. Thanks!

Optima Time Bomb, ride it out?

I have a 2019 Optima FE with 120,000 miles. I bought the car in 2019 used with about 10,000 miles. I commute 70 miles round trip with it 5 days a week and everything still works great. MPG, AC, etc. Its been a solid car....BUT. Its going through about quart of oil every 1000 miles. I was told by a friendly service manager that its not a matter of if but when the engine goes. As far as the extended warranty goes I've also been told that without militant documentation from a shop for on schedule oil changes, Kia will not honor a warranty replacement. I've done all my oil changes on this car myself and just kept track in the notes app

Option 1- Try to see if the dealership will consider troubleshooting the oil loss an potentially getting a warranty engine replacement

Option 2- Trade In/Sell to car purchasing service. I don't want to try to stick this car to someone via private party sale. Estimates are between $3500-$5500.

Option 3- Drive it until it does die and sell it for whatever I can get.

I appreciate any thoughts or insights.

Parking lot exit for High School Graduation at Frontwave Arena?

Attending a high school graduation at Frontwave Arena. I heard someone say it took over an hour to get out of the lot after a graduation last year. That sounds a little extreme. Does anyone have first hand experience with a graduation there or even a bigger event?
