Anyone with costotransverse or costovertebral joint pain or dysfunction?

I am a 22F experiencing persistent back and rib pain that is affecting my daily life.

The pain is mainly in my mid back and lower front ribs with burning and stabbing sensations at times. It feels like there is irritation deep in the back area when the pain starts and it can be quite intense. It does not improve easily unless I lie down flat for several hours.

I also have a clicking sensation in my back when I move or breathe, especially with deep breathing or certain movements, With deep breaths I sometimes feel something going in and out in the back and side area.

I also have mild thoracolumbar scoliosis

My mobility is limited, especially with bending and twisting, and I cannot sit, stand, or walk for more than a few minutes without worsening pain. My front ribs feel stable, so I suspect the issue may be related to the posterior rib joints such as the costotransverse or costovertebral area.

I would like to know if anyone has experienced something similar, what the diagnosis was, and which specialist is most appropriate (spine doctor, orthopedic, or thoracic surgeon). Also what treatments helped, whether physiotherapy, injections, or other options.

my main symptoms are severe left lower rib (left upper abdominal pain) pain that prevents sitting more than 10 minutes or standing or walking my breathing feels tiring and a full deep breath feels limited and nothing helps except lying on my back

i also have constant digestive issues gas frequent noises and abdominal pain after eating sometimes i get pain after food but not always in the same area sometimes it is in different parts of the abdomen and sometimes slightly in the left upper side

i feel there is a hidden problem but doctors focus on ibs or colon issues even though symptoms are not clearly food related since fasting for a day does not change them

i am 22F and this has been going on for 5 years worse in the last year and my life is on hold

i saw many doctors including thoracic surgeons for suspected slipping rib syndrome but no instability was found

ct scan done lying down showed stomach and early colon dilation and x ray showed gas

i also have mild lumbar scoliosis with left side prominence possibly a side shift not true scoliosis

exercise and physiotherapy did not help

i really want and need to understand what is causing this my doctors have exhausted me and i am still without answers
