Store bought Basil plant test
Not really an ornamental house plant but I always wanted to test something like this and might help the occasional “why is my basil plant dying post we get”. Divided a tesco Basil in 4 and here are the results of my 2 week experience so far:
Pot 1- outdoor, SE garden, exposed to elements, full sun.
Pot 2- indoor, E window, when sunny 23500 lux for about 5 hours, but really bright window.
Pots 3 and 4 - grow tent with grow lights 16 hours/day, 173000 lux.
Pot size difference turned out different sized plants too.
That was the post. Thanks :)
