How can I rescue my Haworthia

My haworthia has lost a load of its bottom leaves and now tipped over, the main stem/trunk(?) doesn't seem to be able to hold the rest of the plant up, is there a way to rescue this?

Thanks so much!

Should I remove the babies from the pot?

My pepperomia made babies. Should I separate them or just leave them? If I should separate them, how should I do it to avoid damaging the mama?

In over my head?

Hi everyone! I am very new to plants and brought a furry feather calathea at the weekend impulsively. I mainly picked it as I read that it's cat safe and it was in the easy to take care of section in the garden centre.

Upon doing some further reading, I now realise I might be in over my head! My partner took her out of her plastic pot and put her in a pot that we already had. I've now moved her to the bathroom for the humidity, and I'm now wondering if we should have kept her in that plastic pot? Also, I'm reading things about chunky soil mix, is this something I should do? I've got a misting bottle and some plant food that was recommended at the garden centre.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated as she is truly a beautiful plant!

A bunch of Begonias

In am really enjoying Begonias right now and wanted to show them off. No idea what most of these are named as all but the ferox are random cuttings from friends and acquaintances. A couple are new cuttings from old plants I already had around.

confused about yellowing leaves on monstera adansonii mint

so it’s been happening for a couple months now the bottom leaves have been very gradually yellowing, i’ve already cut some off a few weeks ago. i suspected root rot so i checked and repotted it, but the roots were much healthier than i expected. i wonder if it can be due to not enough light as all the newer leaves appear to be reverting as well, but the plant is literally right infront of the window 😅 i’ve also not been able to spot any pests. please help!! thank you

🪴

I just ordered a Monstera “Cream Cheese” TC, but I can barely find any information about the variety 🤔

Does anyone here own one or have photos of a more mature plant?

I’m also trying to figure out:
- whether it’s considered large form or small form
- if it’s actually a distinct cultivar or basically a Thai Con/mint type clone
- how stable the variegation is long term

Most of the photos I’ve found just look like a creamy Thai Constellation 😅

Would love to see pics or hear from anyone growing one

Fasciation, funky root or something else?

Hoping reddit posts this properly with the image now...

This is on one of my spider plants, it's coming out from the base of the plant, I wonder if it could be fasciation or some other mutation? It sort of feels like it's made up of lots of smaller tubes. Plant is happy and healthy otherwise and many of my spiders putting out crazy amounts of spiderlings.

This particular plant was grown in a very rootbound container with another plant and belonged to my recently deceased grandmother, so I'm keeping it going for her.

Thank you for downvoting me asking a houseplant question in the dedicated subreddit, much appreciated.

Ideal office plant?

As the title suggests, really.

I’m trying to brighten up the otherwise very sterile looking office.

Nothing too big or small. I’ve already assumed I will be the primary caregiver, but equally nothing too needy and fairly easy to care for?

Thank you!

My ZZ Plant has 2 flowers 🤩

My ZZ plant flowered again!
It now has two! I’m wondering what to do once the flower dies off. I read you can leave them or cut them off.

The first flower came up months ago and I left if, now that there is a 2nd I'm not sure if once it dies if it will be taking needed nutrients from the plant like some other plants do.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Help- my monstera doesn’t seem too happy

I’ve had this plant for years and recently repotted into a bigger pot with the correct soil. However I don’t think it’s very happy!

Very recently noticed dark, dry patches forming on the leaves, and the air roots shrivelling up at the ends!

It’s also rather leggy, I’d love for it to be ‘more leaf than stem’ visually, if that makes sense, it’s just not looking that great.

Any advice on the above would be rly appreciated, thanks!

Help with birds of paradise plant?

Hello! I have recently bought a birds of paradise and need some advice! I am using a grow light for around 12-14 hours a day and humidifier around 5 hours a day but have noticed the plant is browning on certain leaves/around the edges and some leaves also seem to now be wrinkling and splitting. Any guidance from successful bop owners is welcome :)

Repotting my zz?

I inherited the zz from an older couple who didn’t have the space, she’s growing healthily and happily but I’m wondering when I should be repotting her, especially considering spring is coming! She’s dear to my heart and I want to avoid doing unnecessary damage so I thought I’d ask here!

If anybody has any other tips on caring for her I’d appreciate that too! Currently I’m watering her around once a month, cleaning leaves from dust, and today I’m going to pick up some bamboo shoots so I can help some of her newer stems stand tall!

Swiss Cheese plant advice

Hello. I have wanted one of these for some time and managed to persuade the shop to sell this half price (£11) as it had a few broken leaves.

Lots of questions:

What do I do about the leaves that are hanging on by a tiny thread, cut them there or right back close to the base?

Is it possible to save the break that’s only partial? I read you can use some plastic (like a straw or something) and tape.

Looks to me like this is more than one plant in the pot. Seems to be at least three main stems that each appear to have roots growing down out of them. How do I know for sure how many, and, there are several, do I (and how do I) seperate them?

There’s some broken yellow stems near the base, what to do about them? Leave or cut back?

I think the final question is, when do I support them? Is it a moss pole that I use?

Any other advice would be very much appreciated as I am trying to improvise my house plant skills.

Thank you.

Succulent exposed to harsh sun and cold spring night in conservatory. Is it dead?

I’ve just moved into a house with a conservatory in SE England. Never worked with a conservatory before. It’s south facing. It’s got UPVC glass above, UPVC doors facing my garden, and walls on the sides, with tiny UPVC windows just above 5 feet.

I wasn’t sure how my houseplants would handle living in a conservatory. It’s been extremely sunny for the past few weeks and we also had a cold snap recently where temperature outside went down to 2°C overnight. I don’t think this jade gollum is doing too well although its roots don’t smell or look mushy. I also have a jade plant and pothos that live in the space conservatory and they’re doing fine. The pothos is thriving!

Any advice on how to revive this, and also in general how to grow houseplants in my conservatory? Thanks very much for all your help!
