What has gone wrong with RR

Everyone is talking about playoffs now but I was just thinking why did we end up in such a position in this season.

  1. Top 4 of our batting order are all youngsters and Indians - look at the other teams RCB has overseas openers, GT has buttler, SRH has head Klassen, punjab has connelly, (leave CSK they are mainly dependant on sanju), lsg has 3 of 4 overseas, kkr has allen, mi has de cock, delhi has Stubbs Nisanka

Each of them have someone overseas experienced person playing in top 4 except us, I am not saying out top 4 is bad I am RR fan since 2014 , but you need someone well experienced there youngsters deliver you but someone like buttler who can take the game till end someone very mature and experienced is required.

  1. Pace bowling - Look RR has a good spin bowling the problem is pacers. Jofra is the one who is more like a game decider, when he performs well he gives a good platform for others to perform good as well now this is a massive thing as our remaining pace attack is quite young tushar, Brijesh, even burger has very less experience of international t20s. Look at the other teams which are above us

RCB - bhuvi, Hazelwood experience

GT - Siraj, Rabada, holder experience

Punjab - although they are bowling bad but still arshdeep, Jansen experience

SRH - before Cummins there were issues although less but there were but as soon as the experienced guy came look at their bowling.

We are lacking here. SRH when Cummins wasn't there the youngsters did well, for us except for 2 or 3 matches they are smashed badly

  1. All Rounder power - come on. Jadeja seems to be your best all-rounder. Look i respect jaddu and he is delivering quite well for us, ig best battery after top 3 but you cant rely on him only. Where is the all rounder power that modern day t20 teams try to have. Number 8 tk batting chahiye indian team ko without impact player and we are winning with that strategy so its a clear example that RR needs good all-rounders, when I say good I want that you deliver in such a way that after impact player we have archer at 9 not 8 and while bowling 2nd we have someone good who won't get always smashed when needed to bowl a over or 2 and can finish off good

I might be wrong , want to hear your views

I have just completed my 1st year of Btech(IITKGP). During my 1st year I have learned ML. Like from very basics to Neural network till now. My main resource has been the Andrew ng course on coursera.

The thing is I am good at theory, I can even code the algorithms. I remember the functions from scikit learn and tensor flow for models. In short I can train a model. Like I also know how can I do EDA and other data analytics before putting the model to train in some algorithm. But the thing is I dont know how these things work in real world. I want to go in the field of AI/ML so what next shall I do.

  1. Shall I do quite a few projects like small and big (kaggle is the resource which I have in my mind)

  2. Shall I do kaggle competitions?

  3. Do i go deeper in Deep learning and then learn RAG, LLMs etc.

  4. Or anything else.

  5. I also know about a site deepml something whixh is basically the leetcode of ML so Shall I do that.

  6. There are also a few famous book on ML, what about those, do I read them and follow along the code or what?

I am seriously very confused right now. I have 2 months holidays and I definitely dont want them to go waste. Any guidance from your end would be beneficial.
