I recently bought a maisonette that hasn’t been updated since the 60s/70s and needs a lot of work. I had to have the whole place rewired, a plasterer to cover the chasing, and have gotten central heating fitted so my funds are running low. The kitchen needs a bit of work and I have had some quotes from handymen but I think it’s slightly out of my budget.
