The Red Roof Inn on Perry Highway lies to you on the phone about their rates

I called for a reservation and they quoted me $92 which matched the price on their website. The guy took time with me so I booked through him rather than going through the website.

Imagine my surprise when I found out I was charged $173 for the night before tax

When I called back, they refused to accept any responsibility for it and basically told me “tough cookies”.

I just want everybody to know that this is a disreputable business that lies to people on the phone

I have been thinking about putting in a pollinator butterfly garden under my bird feeders. Half a dozen feeders in a 12’x12’ square. My original idea was to provide cover for the birds, especially for the ground feeders. We have a lot of hawks and owls and I love my birds and little mammals.

Then I started thinking about the caterpillar and other pollinator babies.

I’m wondering if this is a bad idea? Would I be setting up a butterfly murder zone? Or a safe space for all my creatures?

If you’re heading that way, get off before then. Check OH.go, I don’t see it being shut down for a long, they’ve got road crew swarm out trying to remove the debris.

Apparently, a truck took out one of the overhead signs and the boom is down across all four lanes. As I mentioned above, odot is on scene trying to get that stuff off the road.

Check oh.go or something like Waze before you leave to see whether it’s cleared
