Dropped a dissolving plastic spoon in my lawnmower's gas tank! Do I need to drain the gas?

Hi everyone,

I made a pretty silly mistake today and could really use some expert advice.

I accidentally overfilled my lawnmower's gas tank. To fix it, I tried to scoop out the excess fuel using a flimsy plastic spoon. As you can probably guess, I dropped the spoon inside. When I finally managed to fish it out, the plastic looked like it had already started to dissolve and stretch out.

Now I'm worried that the gasoline is contaminated with melted plastic.

My question is: Do I need to completely drain the gas tank and start over with fresh gas, or is it safe to just fire up the mower? I really don't want to clog or ruin the carburetor.

Need help with 3d tracking system usin ir camera setup

Hello people, I want to make a 3d tracking system that would function as a sort of 3d mouse, it would need to work in a 20x20x20 cm space, with a few millimeters of accuracy and as little latency as it can manage (preferably <5-6~ ms). I am a compleat beginner on everything electronics and programing. For now I tried searching up different methods for this and consulting with an ai (wich didn't really work), I settled on a ir led + 2 - 3 ir camera method witch would triangulate the 3d position of the ir led with an imu sensor fusion, for low latency but good accuracy. My problem is that I have no idea how to actually begin with any of this or if this would even work or any of this is even good and achievable. Any advice would be appreciated! either for resources I could learn from, resources I can use to build this, and generally about anything related to this idea. If anything is not clear or didn't make sense please ask as I don't really know what Im talking about. (Im a 3rd year highschool student in Europe, with a bit that big if a budget preferably <100$ or less)
