Help me out - What was this thing called.... ?
I remember going to tourist attractions when I was just a pup... (The Seaquarium in Miami for one)
There was a big plastic-domed machine that would, for a buck or two, put two metal mold halves together and pump it full of wax, and in a minute or two you'd have a wax figurine of the dolphins, or a city skyline, or some other memorabilia...
I loved watching it, and I can still remember the burnt polycarbonate smell...
Anyone else remember that thing?
