Don't use EBB36 Gen2 if you're trying to use your stockish setup.

I've been fighting a temperature reading of 15-16 degrees when it should be 31ish. I thought the board may have been bad because when I try it on a different PA pin, that is used for fans, it works right. New board is doing the exact same thing. i need all my fan pins for my fans.

With that said, what boards do you recommend for Canbus, or I guess I can print a new toolhead that only uses two fans. I guess really I can make a splitter, but I was hoping to keep everything nice neat and clean, so I'm pretty disappointed.

Edit: Solution found. @shiftingtech took me on a field trip. Basically I started back at the beginning and turns out it works as it should as long as your thermistor wire isn't broken. What I've learned. -93 degrees is an open circuit/broken wire. Start there before changing thermistor settings. Also extremely high temperature, like 550 is a short.

Help with EBB36 Gen 2

I've got a problem and hopefully someone can help or point me in the right direction. I have replaced my toolhead board on my printer, an SV08 and yes I know it isn't a Voron, but you guys seem to be the experts. I've installed a BTT EBB36 Gen 2 running Canbus. I've got everything setup and printer happy by commenting out everything that was barking. finally when it was happy I proceeded to connect the wires for my toolhead to the EBB36 because I was getting a min. extruder temp... so I crimped and tested the thermistor and got 96k Ohms. Installed the thermistor in the two port TH connection, and heater cables onto the HE screw terminals and booted it up.

Now at this point I get klipper disconnected on the klipperscreen. when checking the log it says rx errors 189. it's always 189. I can talk to the eddy duo which is connected through the EBB36 and it is fine. So the U2C and cable are working.

Where do I go from here? Again, first time with Canbus and it was going great until it wasn't. I honestly don't think it is a Canbus issue, rather maybe the EBB36. It was powered down when I made the connections so I don't see how I could have shorted anything.

Thanks for any help to get my printer back up and running.
