Not sure if i added the right flair or if anything i’m doing is right but i need help so i’m rolling with it. I want to cut my hair to something short and masculine, and i was thinking of something like Ryland Grace from Project Hail Mary (I DO NOT want a pixie cut). Recently i’ve been getting some longer mullet-ish styles and just letting them grow out, but i’m sick of having to deal with longer hair. the first 4 images are of my last haircut and are from newest (just now) to oldest (around a few days after i got it). The last 4 are screenshots of clips of the haircut i was thinking of. Do I go with this, or get something else? It might just be my anxiety but i’m nervous because i haven’t done this big of a switch up in at least 6 years.

Additionally: how would i ask for it? If there’s any tutorials or guides i could show to the person that look similar i’d really appreciate that :)

I FORGOT TO NOTE THAT MY HAIR IS KIND OF WEIRD. Sometimes it’s been straight, but i’ve been putting some more effort into taking care of it recently and i actually do have a veery loose curl pattern. you can kind of see some of it in the second image. i am VERY MUCH willing to learn how to style it.
