Hey! I’m looking for some advice on what hairstyle I should try next and generally how to style my hair better.
I've had the same hairstyle my whole life and i just want to try something new because I think it looks very plain and boring.
My hair is very fine and naturally straight, so I struggle with adding volume or texture to it. I’m also not really sure what haircut or styling techniques would work best with my hair type.
I really like messy / tousled hairstyles while still keeping it fairly short but I'm open to trying other styles too. I’m mainly looking for something that works with my hair type and suits the structure of my face.
I’d really appreciate opinions on:
• What hairstyles / haircuts you think would suit me
• Whether I should keep it around its current length or go shorter / longer
• Any products or techniques that work well for very fine, straight hair

I’m naturally a brunette (see the last 3 pictures).
Last September I went fully ginger and I’ve been maintaining it since then.
A few weeks ago I was messing with ChatGPT and I asked it to make me blonde to see how I’d look like. Surprisingly the results gave me the big urge and temptation to say goodbye to ginger and become blonde using the ChatGPT pics as reference ( brunette with blonde highlights).
Thing is I’m not sure if the hairdresser would be able to recreate the reference pics and I wouldn’t want to risk ruining my hair and image…!! I love my ginger hair since I do thing they’ve become my signature, but what if it’s time for a change?
Which of the 3 looks do y think suit me best and what would u advice me to do?
PS: I’m Mediterranean so my skin is not very light.
My husband has been encouraging me to get a pixie cut for YEARS now. I feel like he’s trying to sabotage me a bit (haha, kidding) but I asked gpt to check it for me & IDK - i think it might be cute?? What do you all think? This is the longest my hair has ever been & sometimes I struggle with styling it. I ldk if having it this short will be much easier either. Or maybe I should just wait until I’m the big 4-0 lol please be kind!

as I said in another community, regular bangs suit me well with a no-makeup makeup look and a subtle puppy-eye liner, but I feel like micro-bangs and thinner brows go better with a bolder or more alternative look, which is what I'm most comfortable wearing. comfort aside, what do you all think?
P.S. don't mind my makeup in the second photo (the most recent one), I was just testing something out
edit: I decided to get them again. maybe the overwhelming amount of "no's" convinced me to do it anyway, since it's not really a choice meant to be appealing. I think that's what I like about that style. thank you all for your sincere thoughts!!
edit 2: I ended up cutting myself bangs like Mavis from Hotel Transylvania for the spooky month lol just a little softer than hers
So i havent had my natural hair colour in easily 7 or 8 years because I think its just a bit boring. For 5 of those years I had jet black hair that i loved but also got a bit bored with. After a long process I managed to dye my hair red ( its current colour) but as much as I love the colour I find it fades very quickly and the maintance is a bit much
I've been considering going back to black, but im hesitant since i do still love how the red looks and how long it took me to get to having no visible black in my hair. But maintaining the black was so much easier
So here I am asking strangers for advice on what to do. I have a more layered cut atm which im also worried would be hidden by the black
Also any fresh haircut or styling ideas welcome
Edit: Thanks everyone for your kind responses! Maybe it was kinda a bad comparison for me to do because the curls and colouring were done for a wedding whereas the 2nd one is my natural style and colour.
But it’s definitely made me want to find an excuse to get the curls back again 😊
As you can see, I’ve got a big ass forehead and round face, so it may be a problem. Still, I need to get this thought out of my head before I do some stupid bullshit with my hair. Again.

I got my haircut yesterday and it’s cute when it’s curled/styled, but just feels so blah to me when it is natural/straight (which is how I prefer to wear it most days). I didn’t show an inspiration/reference photo, so that’s my fault, but the third pic is what I was hoping to achieve. I think maybe I asked for it too short for starters (I said an inch above the shoulders) but is there a way I can achieve this look with a touch up, or do I need to wait for it to grow out a bit? What should I ask for next time or do differently? TIA! :)
For my whole life I’ve never dyed or bleached my hair, but I’m looking for a change. I want to get highlights but I’m curious of how upkeep be and if I could just get them done once every 6 months without it looking a hot mess.
