Untouched hair

For my whole life I’ve never dyed or bleached my hair, but I’m looking for a change. I want to get highlights but I’m curious of how upkeep be and if I could just get them done once every 6 months without it looking a hot mess.

I have medium-dark brown thick curly/wavy hair and I’m not even sure what color I should do for a highlight or if I should just not even get highlights at all.

I’ve attached a horrible picture of my current hair color and texture sorry team 🫩

2000s Halloween

Hello! First time posting in this sub! I am yearning for a 2000s Halloween and just overall holiday season as a 24 year old does. I am trying to recreate the aesthetic my grandmother had in her home while I was growing up (i.e, cozy fall that makes the space warm and inviting). I do not have an eye for decor nor do I know where to start so I’m asking for help!

I plan on going to a thrift store in the near future butttt I just had surgery so I’m mostly perusing online, for now.

Also this is just interior decor, no exterior as I don’t own my space and do not have my own porch/yard to decorate

Fleas fleas fleas help me

My indoor cat has fleas! My boyfriend works in landscaping so we are pretty sure he brought some home. Cat doesn’t have a vet appt until Monday but we gave him a Dawn dish soap bath last night and I am going to start the aggravating process of cleaning my whole house. What do you recommend that is pet safe and where do I even start. I’m going to get a steam cleaner today to steam my floors and furniture, and I am washing all my bedding, clothing, curtains, and I will vacuum. What else can I do, can someone please give me a how to get rid of fleas for dummies book

Emergency vet?

My indoor cat has been licking and scratching and biting at these spots for about a week now. He has a vet appointment on Monday but I am getting very worried about it because it seems to be getting worse instead of better. I live in a rural area so emergency vet offices are either closed or far away. I am not even sure what this could be

Grad school

I am looking at going back for my masters! I recently graduated with a BA in English with a professional writing concentration, I want to go back for New Media and Communication! Has anyone done this specific degree program? What are your thoughts overall on the online masters program?

Compulsive thoughts

I recently moved to a fairly sketchy area, and I’ve been having intense compulsive thoughts and anxiety about someone hurting me or my loved ones. I was recently invited out for an overnight trip in a few weeks, but I am nervous to go because my brain gets flooded with the thoughts of what if something happens and I am not there to stop it. Any advice on how to challenge these thoughts?

I’m sorry if this sounds snooty however, I am graduating with a 4.0 (I worked so hard for this I was crashing out every week) however I won’t graduate summa cum lade since I don’t have a certain number of credits with SNHU (transfer) and I’m kinda sad I won’t have the Summa cum lade, but I’ll have ceremonial honors. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

EDIT: Will I receive any cord for this? I have already received my cap, gown, and cape
