I have no idea what to compare this to, cause I just randomly had an idea now... like some of bjork's instrumentals on vespertine. would take instrumental/live and electronic recommendations as well, with or without vocals, but like, I love vespertine, now I'm just in the mood for something minimalistic vocals wise I guess!
I'm curious about how other people perceive the lyrics! I can't stop listening, I hope they'll go even heavier and heavier in the future, cause its just too good man.
But! What do you think of lyrics? Because its interesting to me how shes calling another person a 'big dog', and then herself too. When I listen to it I'm imagining, as kids, you'd play "against" your friends, whatever it is, board games or sports, and when you win, you feel good and would probably make fun of the friend who lost, but ultimately, yall still friends. So I see it as maybe a song about professional competitiveness in the relationship. That as the moment of a 'win' situation for her, but the song is still pretty flirty, so maybe there's sort of an open ending ?🤔
sooo maybe that's super random and idk if it was discussed, I always made assumptions about the band's political views based on just the music itself, but recently I went down the rabbit hole of what red scare podcast is and dasha nekrasova... and I really don't like dasha nekrasova because of what she's promoting. I don't understand it seems so stupid that maybe it's a joke??? I just see now that abigail follows her and sometimes likes posts about and like. so a girl can be maga and support genocide but it's okay if shes vibey??? how's that going... maybe I actually don't understand something about the girls in the band?😔
